I like these lovely photos. Thanks to Mr. Uday Saha. Even though they are local places to you, they are new to the people of tamilnadu like us. Sir, Is the river Ganges is flowing in Calcutta ? Or River Brahmaputra is flowing in Calcutta ? Please Clarify .. Any how Good Posts--- Venkat

ReplyDeleteWe call the river as MAA Ganga or Holy River as it is originated from Ganges river and originally called River Bhaghirathi ...River Ganges dived in two streems one is called as Padma river and flows to Bangladesh...and the other is called as River Bhaghirathi which flows thrugh west bengal .....Murshidabad >> Nadia >>kolkata>> and now this river is called also Hoogly River in Kolkata which is called as ganga by locals....This ultimately meets at Bay of Bengal...
I live in the banks of this river and take these beautiful natural shots...
